A few changes here and there

Still no packages, but there will be an Icepodder package for OS X very soon thanks to py2app.  The Linux build scripts are also in progress.  In the meantime, both Linux and OS X users should just pull from the Subversion repository as described on the download page.

There are also some fixes in SVN so Icepodder should now work for everyone having wxGTK 2.8 problems, and a bug regarding playing episodes should be fixed as well.

  1. Hi, I’m running Ubuntu Hardy and I’m getting the error “Dependency is not satisfiable: python-xmms”

I checked the repositories and indeed there is no such package anymore. There’s one called ‘python-xmmsclient’ which is python bindings for XMMS2, but I’m not sure if that’s the same one?

I don’t actually use xmms with icepodder, I just like the download interface that icepodder has. Are you going to upgrade the python binding to the new version, or make an option to install icepodder without xmms in the future?

    Thanks!
